Back to TopCan I place a master order for the year and then receive it over several deliveries?Yes, this is very common. We take a large yearly order and then send you pieces of it for the full season. In the summer preceding the next selling season, it is our policy to contact our current customers regarding their needs for the following year. This is what we call "pre-booking". Many of our customers pre-book their material ahead of time to avoid hearing "sold out" at the time when our customers need the material the most. If you have definite needs for the following season, please give us a call and pre-book your material, or see us at one of the many trade shows that we attend. While we usually do have a full line of our perennials all season long, there are a few choice items that would be best booked ahead of time. We can grow any amount that you want, but we need time to get those items ready for you. Here are those items that are most important to pre-book. Daylillies (hemerocallis) Hosta Iris Peonies Scabiosa Back to TopWhere do you deliver? We deliver as far north as Maine, as far south as Virginia, and as far west as Pittsburgh. We will deliver nationally to our bare root and liner customers via UPS Back to Top
Do you carry bare root liners? We carry a wide selection of bare root perennial liners. We are going to carry deciduous shrub liners in the near future.
Do you carry grass liners and cell pack liners? We carry a variety of beautiful grass liners in cell packs. Our grasses are propagated in 24 cell liner trays which are bigger than most of the competition. This will produce a better saleable grass in a container in less time. What Does "Hotlist" and "Cherie's Pick" in the Availability List mean?Surprisingly we get this question alot. The term Hotlist thats found next to certain items in the Avail Lists means a plant is "Retail Ready", or more simply, its something you want in your garden center that week. Hotlist plants are typically getting ready to bloom or they are just starting to bloom, or in the case of say a Hosta the foliage is looking very good. Cherie's Pick are the "best of the best" of the hotlist plants. These are usually exceptional plants that week in some way or another. Needless to say if its Cherie's Pick then you should'nt have any reservations about how it will look when it comes to you. Cherie's Pick plants are the best plants on the nursery at that time. |
